Gift a tree: how it works

Order the tree, write the name of the person on the plaque, and tell us the email address if you want the certificate sent to them. You receive the GPS location and the photos once the tree is planted. For Eid, an umrah, a nikah or a birth, it is a gift that keeps growing. If you want something bigger, see bundles of 5 and 10 trees or a water well for £195.

Is planting a tree sadaqah jariyah? 🌱

Yes. Giving or planting a tree is a sadaqah jariyah, an ongoing charity. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said that whoever plants a tree from which a person, a bird or an animal eats has a charity for it (Sahih al-Bukhari 2320). The tree you order is planted for a family in Madagascar, with the name you choose on the plaque, and keeps giving fruit for decades. Many customers plant one for a parent who has passed away, or pair it with a water well in Pakistan.
